On September 5, 1986, 26-year-old Eugene Arnold Diethelm, also known as Gene, was working as a fisherman aboard the vessel, Constellation. At a location approximately two miles west of Eliaga Island, at coordinates 53 degrees. 04 minutes north and 169 degrees 49 minutes 88 seconds west, Diethelm was pulled overboard. He has not been seen since this incident. The case is being handled by the Alaska State Troopers.
