Laura Lee Henderson, a 28-year-old woman, was last seen in Kodiak, Alaska, on March 28, 1986, under suspicious circumstances. At the time of her disappearance, she was embroiled in a contentious custody battle over her two young daughters with her ex-husband, Jack Ibach. Henderson was seeking sole custody with the intention of moving with her children to Oregon to be closer to her family. She was employed at the Women's Resource Crisis Center in Kodiak.
