On November 6, 1985, 62-year-old John Lincoln Porep was last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada. His sister reported that he had gone to deposit some checks for her, and she later verified that the deposits were made on that day. However, she did not see or hear from him after that. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was notified of his disappearance, and a report was filed on November 14, 1985.
