John Moses Lomack, a 49-year-old American Indian/Alaska Native man, was last seen on September 9, 1984, during a hunting trip in the vicinity of Bethel, Alaska. He was at a hunter checkpoint on a gravel bar near Deep Water on the Hoholitna River at mile 25 when he disappeared. At the time of his disappearance, Lomack was approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 136 pounds. He had black hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive scar on his nose.
