On August 28, 1984, 45-year-old Phillip Littleford went missing in Iliamna, Alaska, following a floatplane crash in Iliamna Bay. He was last seen attempting to swim to the shore after the aircraft went down. At the time of his disappearance, Littleford was wearing a bright dark blue long-sleeved turtleneck, blue jeans, and brown "Red-Ball" chest waders with dark feet. He was also wearing a heavy-duty diving-style watch with a plastic band.
