In the spring of 2019, a family was forever changed by a disappearance that left more questions than answers. Ricky Allen Ohler, a 32-year-old man, was last in contact with anyone on May 23, 2019, from an area south of Sallisaw in Le Flore County, Oklahoma. At the time he went missing, Ricky was described as a Caucasian male, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing between 130 and 150 pounds. He had blondish-brown hair and blue eyes. Known for the distinctive tattoos that honored his children, he had the name 'Shelby' on his left arm, 'Gracie' on his right arm, 'Mason' across his chest, and 'Logan' on one of his shoulders. His disappearance under perplexing circumstances initiated a long and painful search for information by his loved ones. The mystery surrounding Ricky's whereabouts deepened when his Chevrolet Blazer was discovered abandoned. The vehicle was found parked near the south edge of the Kerr Bridge, which spans the Arkansas River. While his last contact was on May 23, some reports indicate he was not seen after June 23, 2019. It is believed that at the time he vanished, he was wearing jeans, a cut-off neon green shirt, and black shoes, and he may have also had a gray hoodie with him. Originally from Fresno, California, Ricky had been working for a construction company around the time he went missing. The discovery of his empty vehicle was the last significant trace found, leaving investigators with a scant trail of clues to follow in a case that would quickly grow cold. The LeFlore County Sheriff's Office has been handling the investigation into Ricky's disappearance, but very few details about the case have been made public. The lack of information has been a source of anguish for his family and community, who are left to wonder what happened to him after he left his vehicle by the bridge. The case is an ongoing puzzle, marked by the sudden and unexplained absence of a man from his life and from the lives of those who care for him. The overview of this case is one of profound uncertainty; a young man vanished, leaving behind only his car and a series of troubling questions. With few leads to pursue, the search for answers continues for a family still waiting for a resolution.
