Trevor Scott Cook was 11 when he was killed in Cadet, Missouri. A student at Kingston K-14, he was described as energetic and well liked by teachers and classmates; he enjoyed playing outside, swimming and gaming on his Xbox. Trevor lived with his grandmother, 53-year-old Tammy Feverston.

On the night of December 7, 2020, both Trevor and his grandmother were shot and killed and the house was set on fire. What began as a reported house fire became a homicide and arson investigation after authorities determined they had been fatally shot. Investigators said several items, including cell phones, were taken from the home, and that robbery was a possible motive.

Police later arrested and charged a suspect identified as Richards in connection with the double homicide and arson. Trevor is survived by his parents, Jessica and Jeffery Cook, his brother Tayven, and other relatives and friends.

Did anyone in Cadet or the surrounding area see anything that night or have information about the stolen items?
