Sabrina Starr Page, a 29-year-old woman from Holden, Missouri, was found dead from a gunshot wound on September 26, 2020. Deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office responded late that night to a home in the 1100 block of SW Route U in Holden and discovered her deceased at the scene.

Her 30-year-old husband, Daniel Allen Page, was arrested in connection with her death. The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office charged him the next day with second-degree murder, a Class A felony, plus nine additional felony counts, including four counts of armed criminal action. He was held without bond and arraigned on September 28, 2020, pleading not guilty to all charges. Court scheduling through early 2021 shows ongoing pretrial hearings and a five-day jury trial anticipated for October 2021.
