A Monday evening on the west side of Indianapolis ended with a deadly shooting in the parking lot of an automotive business. Fifty-one-year-old Freddy Figueroa was found with five gunshot wounds after a shots-fired call came in just after 7:30 PM at the 200 block of Warman Avenue near Washington Street. He was taken to Wishard Hospital and pronounced dead about 9 PM.

About twenty minutes after Figueroa was discovered, officers located a second shooting victim inside the business. Forty-five-year-old Ismael Irizarry was found shot and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Investigators said the suspect or suspects left in a maroon or red Ford Expedition or Explorer; a vehicle description was released to the public. Motive and the relationship, if any, between the two men were not immediately clear.

Anyone who was in that area that evening or who may have information about the vehicle seen leaving the scene is asked to come forward.
