Brian Anthony Valley, 32, was killed in a highway ambush during the pre-dawn hours of Sunday, August 9, 2015. Valley was driving a black Infiniti SUV southbound on I-170 between I-270 and Airport Road in Hazelwood when another vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire. The driver’s side of Valley’s SUV sustained about seven to ten gunshot impacts; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old male backseat passenger suffered serious gunshot wounds to his arm and back and was taken to a local hospital. A third occupant escaped without physical injury. The Hazelwood Police Department called in the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis to assist. No suspects have been publicly identified and no arrests have been announced; CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information.

Are there any witnesses who were driving on I-170 that morning or anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage who can help investigators?
