Two others were later charged: Joshua Cromwell, 21, with two counts of murder and one count of robbery; and Keyshawn McFarlane, 20, with two counts of murder, one count of robbery, and one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. All were booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Smalls’ family held a celebration of his life on July 27, 2021, at Grace Cathedral Church in Hollywood, South Carolina, and he was buried at Promiseland R.E. Church on Johns Island. He is survived by his mother, step-mother, fiancée, step-son, siblings, and other relatives.
