DeQuandre Rasheed Perry, 18, was shot and killed in Sumter, South Carolina, on November 1, 2020. The shooting happened at about 1:30 a.m. on Utah Circle. Perry was taken to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Sumter County Coroner’s Office identified him and an autopsy was scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the homicide.
