Late on March 29, 2019, a shooting at TC’s Lounge on Petigru Drive in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, left 28-year-old Matthew Cobb Jr. of Hemingway and 28-year-old Tevin Washington of Georgetown dead and a third person wounded. Cobb died of his injuries at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston at 7:05 a.m. that morning; Washington was pronounced dead earlier at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation with assistance from the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division, the U.S. Marshals, and Georgia police. Investigators located and arrested a suspect in Gwinnett County, Georgia; authorities identified the person in custody as Jarvis Jamison, wanted on murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime charges, and arranged extradition to Georgetown County.
