In the pre-dawn hours of November 28, 2018, gunfire in front of a home on Keith Drive in Warrenville, South Carolina, left 39-year-old Travis Young with multiple gunshot wounds. First responders transported Young to Augusta University Medical Center, where he died later that day.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office investigated the shooting. Their work identified 20-year-old Denzel Deshawn Jackson of New Ellenton as the primary suspect, and also implicated 43-year-old Kristie Shantia Green. Green was taken into custody on February 6, 2019, charged with accessory after the fact to murder and released on bond in March 2019. Jackson was arrested on May 13, 2019, and charged with murder, five counts of attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime; he was in the Aiken County Detention Center in connection with a separate death investigation at that time.
Are there readers who knew Travis Young or who have information about the November 28, 2018 shooting in Warrenville?
