Brady Michael Blymiller, 27, was shot and killed on October 19, 2018, at a residence on Green Street in Pelzer, South Carolina. He was found unresponsive at the scene and pronounced dead shortly afterward.
Investigators identified 31-year-old Todd Hampton Wingard of Donalds, South Carolina, as the primary suspect. Wingard reportedly fled the scene, and Blymiller’s mother made a public plea for him to surrender. On October 31, 2018, the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, with assistance from the Greenville County and Anderson County Sheriff’s Offices, located Wingard hiding in a shed behind a home on Old Pelzer Road in Piedmont and arrested him without incident. He was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and booked into the Anderson County Detention Center.
What additional information is known about the events leading up to the shooting or anyone else who may have been present?
