Sinclair Donell Wright, 28, of Eutawville, South Carolina, was fatally shot on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Known as Dobbie to family and friends, he was a father, son, and brother, born March 26, 1990, and worked as a forklift driver at Zinus Inc. in Jedburg. School records show he attended Lake Marion High School in Orangeburg County District 3.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office classified Wright’s death as a homicide after determining he had been the victim of a targeted attack and was shot multiple times. Investigators identified several suspects; Treashawn Jenkins and Zaquan Taster were charged with murder, and a third man, Matthew Brown, was later sought and ultimately arrested and charged as well. Authorities said the motive was believed to involve personal grievances and that charges included murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
