Milledge H. Hall, 63, was shot and killed after confronting a man who returned to the Pool Room in Johnston, South Carolina, on the evening of May 7, 2018. Hall was taken to a nearby hospital and died in the early hours of May 8, 2018.
Jones fled but was later located by an Edgefield County deputy. During the follow-up, Jones allegedly opened fire on officers from a dirt road; officers returned fire and Jones sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the neck area. He was arrested and taken to a hospital. A jury later found Jones guilty of Hall’s murder and he received a 35-year sentence after evidence at trial included that Jones had returned with multiple firearms and sent a text indicating intent to harm Hall.
If anyone was at the Pool Room that night or has information about the confrontation earlier that day, please share what is known.
