Tyler Michael Pluchinsky, 23, was one of two men killed in a shootout during a drug deal at a residence on Sutton Way in Irmo, South Carolina. Deputies from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of gunfire on January 7, 2018, and found three people with gunshot wounds. Pluchinsky and 21-year-old Davion Q. Allen were pronounced dead at the scene; the Richland County Coroner listed complications from gunshot wounds to the upper body as the cause of death for both men.
Investigators concluded the shooting stemmed from a botched drug transaction and that Pluchinsky and Allen shot each other, so no arrests were anticipated in connection with their deaths. A third person was taken to a local hospital in serious condition and was described by authorities as someone who could face charges tied to the drug deal. What more is known about the survivor and any subsequent charges?
