A domestic argument in Taylors, South Carolina, ended with one man dead on the evening of Friday, July 7, 2017. Richard Mendez, 51, was found at his Bay Point Way residence with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.

Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office identified Richard’s son, Austin Cole Mendez, as the suspect.
