Cleveland Abrams III, known to family and friends as Pigg, was a 25-year-old Black man killed in a shooting in Barnwell, South Carolina, on July 8, 2016. He was born in Atlanta and grew up moving between there and Barnwell County. By 2016 he lived in Barnwell, worked directing the Blackville Senior Center, and was a father and grandson described in obituaries as devoted to his children and to the seniors he served.

Family tributes focus on his caregiving, community role, and the void his death left at the senior center and in family life.

Did anyone in Barnwell at the time know more about where the shooting happened or who might have been involved?
