A woman walking near Fisher Avenue and Williams Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina, discovered two men shot to death inside a car in the early morning hours of May 24, 2016. One victim was Allen Keith Sullivan, a 30-year-old Black man from Spartanburg. The other was Jeffery Jamar Woodruff.

An autopsy found that Sullivan suffered multiple traumatic injuries including closed head trauma and internal hemorrhage in addition to fatal gunshot wounds. Investigators believe both men were likely killed late on the night of May 23 or in the early hours of May 24. The Spartanburg Police Department, with assistance from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, processed the scene using advanced mapping technology and evidence collection.
