Ickle Tilinn Stanley, a 28-year-old Black man from Longs, South Carolina, was shot at an underground nightclub in Longs in the early morning hours of July 30, 2015. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m.

The shooting prompted an immediate investigation by law enforcement and an arrest was later made in connection with the case.
