A holiday weekend argument at Indian Bluff Recreation Park in Eutawville, South Carolina, ended in deadly violence on July 5, 2015. Adrian Jamil Eaglin, a 20-year-old Black man from Sumter, was shot in the torso at close range during a dispute over the operation of a personal watercraft near children in the water and died at the scene.

Orangeburg County deputies identified and arrested 30-year-old Luther Brandell Green at a Santee hotel and charged him with murder; a revolver recovered from the motel room was sent for testing. Investigators also arrested 25-year-old Kimberly Young of Ridgeland, who was accused of renting the room in her name, initially denying knowledge of Green, and charged with accessory after the fact to murder and obstruction of justice.

Information about final legal outcomes for Green and Young is not provided. If anyone witnessed the argument or the shooting at Indian Bluff Recreation Park that afternoon, please share what was seen or heard.
