On a November day in 2014 the body of 21-year-old Dashadre Jacorey Sampson was found in an abandoned home in Loris, South Carolina. A Horry County Police Department officer, acting on an anonymous tip, discovered Sampson; he had been shot multiple times and a gunshot wound to the head was listed as the cause of death. Officials treated the case as a homicide.
Investigators located Sampson’s car burned out in Columbus County, North Carolina, on November 17, 2014. Four teenagers were later charged in connection with the killing: 16-year-old Emericka Jackson and 19-year-old Deterris Marquiz Nequa Bellamy were charged with murder, while 18-year-old Michael Xavier Forti and 19-year-old Brittany Jean Woody were charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly sheltering and transporting the others after the crime. Forti and Woody were released on $20,000 bond and required to wear electronic monitors. In February 2018 Deterris Bellamy was acquitted of murder and attempted armed robbery charges by an all-female jury.
Does anyone have information about Dashadre Sampson, his movements in November 2014, or the burned vehicle found in Columbus County?
