On the early morning of July 4, 2014, a vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a house in Hanahan, South Carolina. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Terrence Kendall McNeil, known on the street as Lil T, was found inside the wrecked car with multiple gunshot wounds and was dead at the scene.
Investigators treated the killing as a targeted, retaliatory attack tied to a feud between rival groups. McNeil was said to have been affiliated with the Young Gunnas from the Waylyn neighborhood; the shooting was reported as retaliation for a prior murder in North Charleston amid a longstanding conflict with the Young Goons. Records show McNeil had prior charges including unlawful possession of a pistol and attempted armed robbery.
No arrests or convictions had been reported, and the homicide remained unsolved. Did anyone in the Hanahan or North Charleston area have information about McNeil, the Young Gunnas, or that July 4 incident?
