On a late Sunday evening in March 2014, 17-year-old Brandon Davis, a former student at Clover High School, was shot and killed in the Glen at Clover mobile home community in Clover, South Carolina. The shooting followed an attempted drug purchase: Davis and a 22-year-old friend arranged to buy three ounces of marijuana from a group that included 21-year-old Ezekiel James Lundquist, 19-year-old Tevin Dye, and 20-year-old Javeas Wesley Cohn.
After receiving the marijuana, Davis tried to leave without paying. Arrests followed: Javeas Wesley Cohn was identified as the shooter and initially charged with murder; Tevin Dye pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana and received three years probation; Cohn later pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to more than 16 years. Ezekiel James Lundquist, Michael Lynn Mcafee (charged with obstruction for providing false statements), and Morgan Kalea Robinson were also charged in connection to the incident.
Are there additional details about the sequence of events that anyone on the scene that night can share?
