Tyran Caulk, 42, was shot to death on November 12, 2022, in the 9900 block of Berliner Place in Middle River, Maryland. Police found him that Saturday afternoon with multiple gunshot wounds; an autopsy later showed he was shot eight times in the head, chest, arm, and thighs, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say two young men, 18-year-old Deandre Antoine Wright of Rosedale and 19-year-old Demetris Tyron Hollis of Middle River, arranged to meet Caulk at that location. The motive appeared to be robbery. Authorities recovered multiple shell casings linked to three different ghost guns, and the case relied on video evidence, eyewitness accounts, and cell-phone tracking to reconstruct the events.
An initial arrest of 18-year-old Elijah Sattler was made and charges were filed, but prosecution later focused on Wright and Hollis. In February 2025 a jury found Wright and Hollis guilty of first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, and armed robbery; sentencing was set for May 23, 2025.
Did anyone in Middle River or Rosedale see activity near Berliner Place on November 12, 2022, that might shed more light on this case?
