On the evening of October 11, 2021, 55-year-old Christopher Walker of Rosedale, Maryland, was shot and killed inside his home on the 7400 block of Plainview Road. Baltimore County Police arrived shortly after 9 p.m. and found Christopher and his 24-year-old son Justin both dead from gunshot wounds; Christopher was struck eight times and Justin was shot once in the head. Christopher’s 83-year-old mother witnessed the killings and was confronted at gunpoint before the suspects fled in Justin’s car.

Investigators say Justin had earlier given a ride to two men, identified as Ameer Gittens and Derrick Jamison, who produced handguns, robbed Justin and a friend, forced them to strip, bound the friend with duct tape and put him in the trunk. The suspects then drove Justin to his father’s home and carried out the fatal shootings. Video evidence and fingerprints in Justin’s car were cited in the investigation, and one of the murder weapons was reportedly recovered when a suspect was arrested.
