On the evening of May 12, 2021, Christopher Lee Lombr, 29, was shot and killed after a verbal dispute on Townsend Avenue in Brooklyn Park. The confrontation occurred at about 8:28 p.m.; a male wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt and dark pants produced a firearm, shot Lombr, then fled on foot toward Baltimore. Emergency crews transported Lombr to a trauma hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Anne Arundel County homicide investigators collected scene evidence and witness statements. Ballistic evidence entered into the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network matched a weapon seized in a separate incident. That lead culminated in a July 29, 2021 search warrant on Mayadon Court in Baltimore, where physical evidence linked a 13-year-old to the shooting. Authorities say Lombr and the teen did not know each other before the encounter, and the youth was charged as a juvenile with first- and second-degree murder.

Does anyone have information about the dispute or the events on Townsend Avenue that night?
