A midday shooting outside the Kings Mill Apartments and Townhomes on Ashbridge Drive left one man dead and another gravely wounded on Monday, January 4, 2021. Kenneth Andre Chamberlain, 25, of Baltimore, was shot in the upper body and died after being taken to a local hospital. A 26-year-old companion was also shot in the upper body and was listed in critical condition.

Baltimore County police said the attack appeared targeted and that they did not believe there was a continuing danger to the public. The shooter or shooters fled the scene and were not identified at the time. Authorities asked anyone with information to come forward, but there have been no publicly announced arrests or suspect identifications in Chamberlain’s killing.
