A dispute outside a banquet hall in Temple Hills, Maryland, turned deadly in the early hours of a January morning when gunfire erupted in the venue’s parking lot around 2:10 a.m. Three men were killed: 26-year-old Kevon Medley Williams of Washington, D.C.; 33-year-old Pierre Davis of Washington, D.C.; and 27-year-old Ronez Proctor of Waldorf.
Prince George’s County detectives say Antonio Lancaster, 39, of Landover, was present with Davis and that Lancaster began shooting at Proctor and Williams. Williams and Davis are believed to have exchanged gunfire during the incident, and all three victims died. Investigators report surveillance footage, interviews, and ballistic analysis were used in the investigation. Lancaster was later located and arrested in Fairfax County, Virginia, and faces first- and second-degree murder charges related to Proctor’s death and charges for shooting at Williams; he is in custody in Virginia awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County. Investigators say the suspect and the deceased were known to one another, but a clear motive has not been established.
If anyone has information about what led to the shooting or knew the victims, please share what can help the investigation.
