On the evening of May 16, 2020, Lamont Taylor, 33, was returning to his residence at the Eagles Walk Apartments in Rosedale, Maryland when an unknown person approached him and shot him. Emergency responders transported Mr. Taylor to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Department opened a homicide investigation and described the suspect as at-large. No motive has been released and, as of the information available, no arrest has been announced.

Anyone who was at or near Eagles Walk Apartments on the evening of May 16, 2020, or who has information about the shooting, is asked to come forward.
