A late-night dispute in Fort Washington on April 12, 2019, ended with 19-year-old Timothy Rojas found with a gunshot wound in the 1500 block of Tucker Road. Police responded around 11:00 p.m.; Rojas, a male resident of Temple Hills, was taken to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators did not treat the shooting as random. Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit’s preliminary work pointed to a drug-related dispute as the catalyst. Detectives identified a suspect, and 22-year-old Ulises Bonilla of Oxon Hill was arrested in connection with the shooting. Bonilla was charged with first- and second-degree murder and other offenses and was held at the Department of Corrections without bond.
