Seventeen-year-old Bryan Alvarado-Esquivel was shot and killed in a Bladensburg park on June 18, 2018. He was found outside in the 5300 block of Varnum Street with gunshot wounds, taken to a nearby hospital, and pronounced dead. Bryan was a student at Bladensburg High School.
Investigators from the Maryland-National Capital Park Police and the Prince George’s County Police Department determined the motive was robbery and said several personal items were taken, including a Gucci belt, a watch, and a necklace; images of the stolen items were released to the public. Police described a suspect as an African American male about 20 years old, roughly 5 feet 2 inches tall, with shoulder-length dreadlocks or braids, last seen wearing a black tank top, light blue jeans, and distinctive blue tennis shoes. A reward of up to $25,000 was offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
Who has information about Bryan, the items taken, or that sighting in the Varnum Street area?
