On October 18, 2017, 53-year-old Bayarsaikhan Tudev was fatally shot at Advanced Granite Solutions in Edgewood, Maryland. Tudev, a Mongolian immigrant who commuted more than two hours each day to work there, was killed when a coworker, Radee Labeeb Prince, opened fire inside the business. Two other employees, Jose Hidalgo Romero and Enis Mrvoljak, were also killed in the attack.
After the Edgewood shooting Prince drove to Wilmington, Delaware, where he shot and wounded another man at a used car dealership. A multi-jurisdictional manhunt followed; Prince was located late that night in Newark, Delaware, and taken into custody after a brief foot chase. Reports describe Tudev as a devout Christian and a devoted family man who had moved to the United States from Mongolia.
What details about Tudev’s life, commute, or workplace might help explain why he was at Advanced Granite Solutions that morning?
