On September 24, 2017, 31-year-old Arthur Terrell Alford was shot and killed in a residential area of Princess Anne, Maryland. Emergency responders found Alford with obvious trauma and he was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the killing was linked to a vehicle Alford had purchased from a local man the day before. Prosecutors alleged the shooter fired two close-range shots to Alford’s head while both were inside the car parked in a driveway, then dragged Alford’s body out, left it in the driveway and fled in the victim’s vehicle. Police recovered a long-barrel .22 semiautomatic handgun believed to be the murder weapon and the car less than a mile away that evening; authorities say the suspect’s DNA tied him to the handgun and that email and Google searches on his phone were also used in the probe.
A suspect was arrested and charged in the case. Does anyone have information about Arthur’s final movements on September 24 or about the vehicle transaction the day before?
