On the afternoon of August 31, 2017, 48-year-old Charles Pugh was found wounded inside a car after reports of gunfire near Harrpark Court and Cedar Drive in Edgewood, Maryland. Deputies discovered a motor vehicle collision at the scene; Pugh had suffered several gunshot wounds to his lower body and was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
