On the night of May 12, 2015, 18-year-old Reginald Bernard Brown III was one of five men shot in front of a home in the 4700 block of Pard Road in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Brown, a resident of Southeast, D.C., was rushed to a local hospital and died of his wounds; the four other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Prince George’s County police responded to the quintuple shooting and said early on they did not believe it was random, and they worked to establish a motive and identify those responsible. A reward of up to $25,000 was offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment. There have been no public reports of arrests or suspects identified, and the case remains unsolved.
If anyone has information about Reginald Brown’s shooting or the events that night, please come forward to assist investigators.
