In February 2014 an apartment on Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights, Maryland, became the scene of a triple homicide. Staci Taneesha White, 33, was found inside alongside 38-year-old Ortiz Ola and 33-year-old Weldon Mason; all three had sustained gunshot wounds. A 911 caller discovered the bodies and Prince George’s County police secured the scene and opened a homicide investigation.
Investigators established links among the victims: White and Mason were coworkers, and Ola and Mason were friends. Police canvassed the neighborhood, distributed flyers with the victims’ photos, and offered a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Who knew Staci, Ortiz, or Weldon and might have information about what happened that night?
