Brian Keith Tann, 43, was shot at a residence on Bender Road in Landover, Maryland, on January 12, 2012. Police arrived about 10:24 p.m. and found Tann suffering trauma; he was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Investigators focused on an acquaintance, identifying 21-year-old Thomas Everett Chester III as the suspect. Authorities say the shooting arose from a dispute between Chester and Tann. A first-degree murder warrant was issued for Chester on January 13, 2012, and he turned himself in on January 16, 2012, then was remanded to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections on no-bond status. The account does not include the outcome of any later trial or conviction.

Did anyone in the Landover area know Brian Tann or have information about his movements the night of January 12, 2012?
