Clifton Antione Turner, 42, was fatally shot shortly after midnight on January 4, 2011, in Suitland, Maryland. The Prince George’s County Police say the shooting happened about 12:43 a.m. in the 3900 block of Bexley Place as Turner was leaving the Upscale Ballroom; he was found shot inside a vehicle and investigators described the attack as appearing targeted, with no prior violence reported inside the club.
Turner, a Laurel resident and father of four, was survived by his wife Angelicque Turner and their sons. He had a criminal history that included drug convictions and a prior murder conviction. Police opened a homicide investigation but made no immediate arrests and did not publicly identify suspects; detectives continued to seek information from the public.
What did anyone who was at the Upscale Ballroom that night notice about vehicles or people in the area?
