Lutricia Ann Smith Thompson was 19 and a new mother when she disappeared from Pascagoula, Mississippi on September 1, 1988. She had given birth on August 11 and was last seen leaving home to meet friends; she never returned. At the time she was described as 5 feet 4 inches, 135 to 150 pounds, with dark brown hair, brown eyes and scars on her left hand. She was wearing an orange shirt and navy blue pants when last seen.

Her disappearance was not reported immediately. In 2018 her family came forward during the investigation into Samuel Little and asked whether she might be one of his victims; no direct connection has been established. Little confessed to many murders, but Lutricia’s case remains unsolved and the file is still open. Very little investigative work was done in 1988, and her family continues to seek answers after more than three decades.

If anyone knew Lutricia, saw her around Pascagoula in late summer 1988, or has information that might help, please share what you know.
