Albert Calvin Savoy was shot and killed on the evening of Friday, August 24, 2007, in Temple Hills, Maryland. The 26-year-old was struck by gunfire in the 4600 block of Dallas Place after being reported near his home in the 4700 block of Dallas Place at about 9:00 p.m. Emergency services responded, but Savoy died of his wounds.

The Prince George’s County Police Department investigated the killing. In the immediate aftermath no suspect or motive was publicly released, and available reports do not show any arrests or identified suspects in connection with his murder. The case remains unresolved and was one of several homicides in the county that August.
