On a pre-dawn December morning in Landover, Maryland, Metro Transit Police Officer Harry Davis Jr., 40, was killed while on routine patrol. A U.S. Army veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm, Davis approached a suspicious vehicle parked at a secluded Metro power station where a man and a 16-year-old girl were seated. The assailant then fled, and the teenage passenger used Davis’s radio to call for help.

The girl’s information led authorities to identify 20-year-old Christopher Ramond Davison and to execute a search at his Landover home. A handgun was later recovered concealed outside the residence. Davison was charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Officer Davis, a husband and father of two sons.

If anyone has information about the shooting, the people involved, or was in the area that night, please share what is known.
