Agnes Louise Seaman, 47, disappeared from Cheswick, Pennsylvania after attending a Bell Telephone Company retirement party on October 20, 1972. She lived in Harmar Township at the time and was last seen by coworkers that evening; she never made contact or was seen again.
A central and unresolved detail is the behavior of her boyfriend, who gave shifting stories about her whereabouts. He first said she had taken a job in Chicago, then later claimed she had moved to the Bahamas. No verifiable evidence has been found to support either claim, and those inconsistent explanations have long been a primary focus of concern.
There have been few concrete leads over the years and no public sign that Agnes started a new life in Chicago or the Bahamas. Anyone who knew Agnes, her boyfriend, or saw her after October 20, 1972 is asked to come forward with information.
