William T Brown, 37, was found dead in the LaChute River at Bicentennial Park in Ticonderoga, New York, in December 2018. Police responded after a report of a suspicious vehicle and located tracks leading to the river’s edge; an autopsy later determined Brown died of a gunshot wound to the head. Brown, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, was also known as Liam.

Investigators say the shooting followed a dispute during a gathering at a home on Lonergan Lane. Authorities identified several people connected to the case, including Michael E. LaRock, 38, who was named as the primary suspect, and two others, 63-year-old Donald C. LaRock and 35-year-old Joshua W. Smith, who were implicated in efforts to conceal the crime after the killing. If anyone has information about that December 2018 incident or knew William, please come forward to assist the investigation.
