Brian Brain, 34 and from Yonkers, was found dead in a wooded area near the I-87 overpass on Tuckahoe Road in July 2018. Authorities determined he had been fatally shot and said they believe the killing took place in Queens even though his body was discovered in Yonkers.

In September 2018 a 23-year-old man from Queens, Dequan Reyes, was arrested and charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with Brain’s death. Reyes was turned over to Queens authorities for prosecution; officials did not release a motive or detailed circumstances of the shooting.

Public information about how the case moved through the courts after those charges was not provided. Does anyone have information about Brian’s last known movements or the events in Queens that led to this killing?
