Stephanie Ray Clemons, 54, of Miramar, Florida, was last seen May 20, 2018. She failed to report for work as a phlebotomist at Jackson Memorial Hospital, which was out of character given her strong attendance. Family and police found her car at home with her wallet and $300 in cash inside, but her house keys, car keys, and cell phone were missing. Food was left on the stove and the television was on; investigators reported no obvious signs of foul play at the scene.
Clemons had been in an on-and-off relationship with Jack Freeman Jr., the father of one of her four children; they married in 2016. The relationship had a documented history of domestic violence, and Freeman had been involved in multiple abuse incidents against Clemons and other women. Investigators say phone records and other evidence placed Freeman’s involvement shortly before her disappearance; he initially cooperated but later stopped. Investigators have classified the case as a homicide and continue to seek information.
If anyone knew Stephanie, her routines, or saw her on or after May 20, 2018, please share what might help resolve her disappearance.
