Remy Navarro, 38, of Chino Hills was found shot in a breezeway near the 16300 block of Butterfield Ranch Road, not far from Chino Hills High School, on August 15, 2022. Deputies responded to a report of a male victim at about 5:51 a.m.; Navarro was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has ruled the death a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities have asked anyone with information to contact the Homicide Detail or the We-Tip Hotline.
