I've been thinking a lot about the woman in the passenger seat during that awful moment when Dominique Bustamante was killed. It must have been beyond terrifying to be right there when everything happened. I can't even begin to imagine what she’s going through, dealing with not only her physical injuries but also the emotional and mental trauma of witnessing such a horrific event. Survivors in such cases often carry invisible scars that last a lifetime. Does anyone know if there are resources or support systems in place for witnesses or survivors of traumatic incidents like this? I know the focus is rightfully on bringing justice for Dominique, but I hope there's also ongoing support for this woman as she navigates life after such a traumatic incident. Hoping for healing for everyone affected.
